Abstract

Description is given of the petrified plants collected from three localities in the Rajmahal Hills, Bihar and are attacked by three kinds of phytophagous arthropods. Ellipsoidal coprolites occur in burrows or fecal products are filled in, elongated cavities, and in some woods inter connected empty bores are present. Importance of the interaction between extinct plants and animals is discussed.
