Abstract

Crabs were daily fed with 1% of CuSQ, and ZnSO4 separately. Glycogen, proteins, free amino acids (FAA) and lipid content of muscle were estimated during first four days and on 7th, 15th and 21st day of feeding. CuSO4 elevated levels of glycogen, FAA and lipids at 2nd day whereas proteins were increased upto 4th day but afterwards all these constituents decreased as feeding period increased. Similar results were obtained after ZnSO4, exposure.
